We’ve been hard at work getting HeroSheets ready for our beta release. For those signed up for the early access program, invites will start going out in the next couple of weeks. If you’re not signed up yet, get on the mailing list with the signup bar on the left or on herosheets.com. Early access is currently full, but we may have room for additional testers near the end of the program. For now, let these screenshots whet your appetite:
We’re doing our best to make sure the app runs smoothly on devices and screens of all sizes. There won’t be native mobile clients for a while, but we’re testing the responsive design on popular platforms to ensure compatibility. We’re making HeroSheets flexible enough for either players that like to just take paper to the table or ones that are a little more digitally inclined.
You might use HeroSheets to create your character, but your character belongs to you. If you decide you don’t like our project, you can export your characters for use in other programs. This includes the ever popular “paper” option, a device with great battery life and excellent contrast. We plan on working with other tabletop gaming technology companies so that you can import your HeroSheets characters into other great systems.
More to come
These screenshots are very early, but I hope the simple, clean design conveys the HeroSheets ethos: making & leveling up Pathfinder characters should be simple and easy. And of course, the presentation & usability will steadily improve over the course of the early access program as we get feedback from testers. Don’t forget to sign up for the mailing list!
